TXGRG Day at the Texas Capitol

We are thrilled to invite you to TXGRG Capitol Day 2025, where grandparents and kinship caregivers from across Texas will come together to raise awareness and advocate for the unique needs of their families.
With over 300,000 grandparents providing primary care to their grandchildren to keep them out of foster care, it’s time to ensure their voices are heard.
What’s Included:
This event offers a unique opportunity to visit the Texas Capitol and meet with legislators to raise awareness about the challenges faced by grandfamilies. Lunch will be provided, and transportation to the Capitol will either be arranged or compensated to ensure everyone can participate in this important day of advocacy.
