Advocacy

Proudly tell your story

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is raise your voice.

Through our advocacy work, we strive to amplify the voices of grandparent caregivers, ensuring that their experiences and challenges are heard and understood by policymakers, community leaders, and the public. We advocate for policies and initiatives that address the unique needs of grandparent-headed households, including access to resources, legal protections, and support services.

What our grandparents are saying

“They really help a grandparent feel that they are not alone raising their grandchildren. I love hearing the stories from other grandparents about how they are doing it, it gives me ideas of what I can do better.”

— TXGRG grandmother —

Thank you for sharing the attorney information. I’m forever grateful to you for providing a platform for so many of us. I can’t wait to be an advocate, not only for grandparents but also people like my sister. I have her in my care as well. She is 65 and is mentally challenged. She has the mindset of a little girl. So the 3 of us ladies live an amusing, sometimes challenging life. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
